  • Dos Caminos at the Palazzo Las Vegas was the spot we found amazing this last trip to Vegas. So loved it so much that we went twice! What ever you do, do not skip the guacamole at Dos Caminos. You have not had guacamole like this before - it's amazing how you can make an entire meal out of this dish.

Oh and the Blueberry pomegranate Margarita weren't too shabby either. Pomegranate juice is good for you, right?

  • About every 6-9 months I get bored with my current scent and go on the hunt for something new. Luckily Our Wedding magazine has had a hand in my two last discoveries. Here is the newest one: Ange ou Demon Le Secret by Givenchy. I won't pretend to write my own description...Sephora says Fresh and luminous, the secret of this caressing, fruity floral is its "jasmine tea" theme. The fragrance faithfully reflects its inspiration's transparency and delicacy. The result is an unmistakable signature, very Givenchy.

  • I have to say that while in Vegas, Cory and I did some shopping. Not a lot, but I did hit Victoria's Secret. A few pair of new PJs and it was time to get some new bras. I have to say the service at the Victoria's Secret in the Palazzo at the Venetian was the bomb! I've never had such a wonderful experience. They made sure I had a box of all the new styles to try on, along with a hanging t-shirt in the fitting room so that you could see what the bra really looked like under a t-shirt. Seriously the best service ever!!!

How crazy to get excited over buying new bras and undies. :-)

  • On our way to Vegas, I discovered Sudoku in the Southwest Airline magazine. I was able to do 3 out of the 4 games - Warm Up, Easy, and Medium. But I couldn't finish the "hard" one. Any tips out there?

  • This year Cory and I ventured down to Las Vegas for WPPI - Wedding and Portrait Professionals International - their 30th anniversary! It's one of the biggest photography conferences held each year.

  • I was so excited to get to visit with so many vendors. Some of my vendors I've worked with for years and have never had the pleasure to meet in person. I was able to meet Rachel with Graphistudio, Kate and Stephanie from Digilabs, Amy from Albumesque and so many others.

It was so great to run into so many wonderful people that I've not seen for awhile such as Jim Garner, Shannon Sewell, Catie Ronquillo, and Lawrence (Tofurious). Of course we didn't miss the likes of Becker , Gary Fong, and Jessica Claire. And most exciting we met some photographers that we've admired for such a long time: Jen and Stephen Bebb, Jen and Robert Maring, Joe Simon and Bruce Patterson.

And we met new wonderful vendors that we'll be offering as new services and products this coming year!
