Today we want to talk about your wedding day timeline. If you've missed any, you can read our other Wedding Photo Wednesday Posts on our blog. Your wedding day timeline is so important! Every smart bride should make a wedding day timeline and then pad it! You should consider the elements of your special day that may require extra time. So when writing your timeline, allow the time you think you will need for each item and then add a few extra minutes to some of them.
For example, if you are having an elaborate hair design you will want some extra time for this. Even if the practice run was quick, you will probably want extra time on wedding day as your designer will go above and beyond for it to be absolutely perfect.
Also, if you are on a super tight timeline and one of your lovely little flower girls spills koolaid on her dress (yes this has happened to us!), you will need some extra minutes to clean her up and allow her dress to dry.
What about your dress? Does your dress have gorgeous little buttons down the back or lovely laces? You will need a little extra time to get into your gown for sure! You don't want to have to rush this process. It should be a fun and relaxed time before your nuptials so allow your bridesmaid to button you up without the pressure of a ticking clock.
Another thing we find folks forget to allow time for is putting Boutonnieres on the fellas. I can't tell you how many times we do this for the guys as it is an overlooked item on the agenda. We don't mind at all and actually Jen has become quite the expert. But, you don't want to rush this either so be sure there is time in your timeline for Boutonnieres.
